United Way hosts drive-through food distribution for Flint space homes on MLK Day
GENESEE COUNTY, MI — As vehicles started to line up outside the Flint Cultural Centre Academy, volunteers concluded packing food into baggage for regional households.
Hosted by the United Way in partnership with the Flint Nationwide Provider Accelerator and the Flint Community Education and learning Initiative, a drive-through food stuff distribution was held Monday, Jan. 18 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day as component of the Countrywide Day of Services.
The giveaway was positioned at two locations in Flint — the Flint Cultural Heart Academy and Flint Southwestern Classical Academy — and integrated food items these types of as fresh fruits, meats, milk, and cereals as properly as community means for inhabitants and publications by regional artists.
