Between Renault’s successes beneath Lo have been the Renault Clio, a small hatchback that became the brand’s prime seller, and the Dacia Duster, a funds-priced small SUV that has been a phase chief from extra highly-priced rivals.
At Ford, Lo will be on an “great team and succeeds an individual who is seemed on as getting a style chief,” Le Quement reported of Callum, including that Callum surrounded himself “with some really warm talent.”
Lo declined to comment, citing the task changeover.
Going with an outsider labored effectively for Ford in 1997, when it employed a young designer from Audi, J Mays, to replace Jack Telnack as vice president for layout. Mays went on to craft a lot of notable vehicles, together with a number of Ford sedans, two iterations of the F-150, the 2010 Mustang and the 2005 GT.
