Sparta kicks off carryout-centered Restaurant Week

The village of Sparta is web hosting its first Cafe 7 days, carryout-style.

Elizabeth Morse, director of the Sparta Downtown Improvement Authority, said Monday that Sparta Currently — the umbrella manufacturer for the DDA and the Sparta Chamber — is web hosting Cafe 7 days TO GO! from now by Jan. 16 as component of its mission “to communicate the possibilities to guidance nearby business and preserve Sparta a lively position.”

The event is built to boost area eateries that have been impacted by the statewide pause purchase for indoor dining due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The social media marketing campaign kicked off Tuesday on the Sparta Nowadays Facebook site with a listing of collaborating organizations, exclusive promotions, “local celeb cafe owner” interviews and giveaways.

Sparta’s Law enforcement Chief Andrew Milanowski helped promote the occasion in a video clip very last 7 days on the Sparta Currently page, giving the community “an order” to shop local and suggestion servers.
