Republican congressman Andy Harris tried to deliver gun on Home ground: report

Republican Maryland Congressman Andy Harris is beneath investigation by Capitol Police for allegedly attempting to carry a gun on to the flooring of the Home of Associates.

Republicans have been resistant to new stability protocols place in place following the lethal siege at the U.S. Capitol Building on Jan. 6. 

Residence Speaker Nancy Pelosi had metallic detectors put in just days right after the riot, and significant fines are getting imposed on Home members who refuse the security screenings. A good of $5,000 for a 1st offense and $10,000 for a next offense will be imposed, deducted straight from lawmakers’ salaries.
