HCEF to host sixth once-a-year “Food for Thought” party Jan. 18-24

January 15, 2021 (Hendersonville, NC) – The Henderson County Education and learning Foundation (HCEF) will host its sixth-yearly Food for Considered event January 18 by January 24. The local community is invited to dine-in or just take-out at area, participating institutions that have participated in the once-a-year occasion about the past 6 decades or are newcomers to the Hendersonville meals scene. 

This calendar year, Food items for Believed: Covid Edition, is shifting the focus. Traditionally, cafe associates have donated a portion of revenue again to HCEF, but since the pandemic has significantly influenced the restaurant market, HCEF is not inquiring for donations from the dining places. 

“We desired to stimulate our group to patronize the dining places that have faithfully supported us in the earlier,” says Summertime Stipe, Govt Director of HCEF. “We know the field is hurting, and we wanted to help them while also providing individuals the capacity to donate and assistance local community education. When shoppers dine-in or get-out at the participating places to eat, they can also give to HCEF by either putting donations in the selected donation jar, texting Meals4Thought to 44321, or producing a donation on our web-site, www.hcefnc.org/foods.”
