Frenship ISD is proud to announce Lela Vela, Frenship ISD Director of Finance, has been chosen as a 2022 Rise Award receiver by the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO). Vela is 1 of only seven community schooling administrators throughout the Point out of Texas to acquire the award this year.
Vela and the other recipients of the Rise Award had been selected primarily based on their leadership traits, achievements, and their want to continue on expanding their profession. The award also acknowledges the recipients as potential leaders who are on the increase in the college organization community and profession.
Vela has been with the Frenship spouse and children for 10 years, serving in numerous roles within just the Frenship ISD Business Office like Accountant, Coordinator of Accounting, and now Director of Finance. Not only is Vela an energetic member of TASBO, earning their optimum certification of Registered Texas University Company
Administrator (RTSBA), but she also participates in different community and Frenship committees and serves as a mentor to younger business industry experts and students.
