Elon Musk, main executive at Tesla and SpaceX, drove the rate of Dogecoin cryptocurrency by as considerably as 35% larger with a sequence of tweets late Saturday. 

The digital forex hit an all-time high of $.065448, up about 35% from its 24-hour reduced of $.048356, according to CoinDesk. The cryptocurrency’s rate later dropped again before climbing back to about 25% gains.

12 months-to-day returns on the cryptocurrency have been about 1,032.91%, the site claimed. The cryptocurrency experienced a market place capitalization of about $7.81 billion early Sunday. 

Musk on Saturday evening posted a Twitter poll, asking his 45.8 million followers to select “the upcoming forex of Earth.”

He gave two possibilities: “Dogecoin to the Moooonn” or “All other crypto merged.”

The poll resulted in 71.3% of the 2.4 million voters indicating that “Dogecoin to the Moooonn” would be the foreseeable future of forex.

Last 7 days, Musk sent the coin up 59% with yet another series of tweets, wherever he identified as Dogecoin “the people’s crypto.”  He is also boosted bitcoin, and has been a vocal supporter of the Reddit team Wall Avenue Bets. Dogecoin has benefited from the mania pushed by that team.  

Just prior to midnight in California, Musk extra yet another tweet, developing off a meme he’d posted final 7 days. On February 4, he posted a drawing ripped from “The Lion King,” with himself as Rafiki, the cartoon monkey, keeping up a little one – Simba in the film, but the Dogecoin dog in Musk’s variation.

On Saturday, he added two other monkeys to the scene.  They had the heads of Gene Simmons, from the band Kiss, and Snoop Dogg.
