Hi Sean, thanks for getting the time to communicate to us these days, to begin with could you explain to us a little bit about how you have been motivated to come to be an artist?

I was motivated to come to be an artist when I fell in like with the method. The approach improvements all the time, the day-to-day troubles and wins of getting an artist excite me. Also, the point you get to constantly establish one thing, a ‘style’ that you have made, never receives outdated. From a serviette doodle to a canvas painting, it is all equally as fun to me.

You have a very bold unique aesthetic, that is simply recognisable as ‘a Sean Webster’. Such graphic bold, traces, with bright backgrounds and colourful characters, how did you produce this individual fashion?

My model has designed as I have produced as an artist, as I have learnt new items and uncovered new inspirations. My design is also something I connect by means of. Currently being a little bit of an introvert escalating up, I sense like subconsciously the point my art is so ‘in your face’ was/is my way of displaying my extroverted aspect. I really like that the colours and boldness helps make persons pleased. Among this mad globe we reside in, it’s good to incorporate a bit of colour and pleasure.

Now if we ended up to wander into your studio what products would we obtain and why are these essential to your practice?

I’ve had a variety of studios/workspaces. I employed to hoard my art materials but a short while ago I have absent for a much more minimalistic and wonderful-tuned method to what I use. I have been working from a home in London this calendar year and in there you will locate a trolley loaded with Posca markers, good liners and a stash of Montana gold spray paints – parked up upcoming to my iMac and MacBook. The fab 5! It’s a combo I have employed and linked with following a couple many years of, as I mentioned, experimenting with a large vary of materials.

I have to request about the excellent e-book you illustrated ‘Be True to You’ with Liverpool’s own UFC fighter ‘Meatball’ Molly McCann. Could you convey to us about this reserve and your expertise making this?

Molly is a legend! ‘Be Legitimate To You’ is about Molly’s coming-out tale. Getting able to perform on these types of a private project with her was an absolute honour and I’m happy to connect with her a fantastic mate given that. The book has touched so a lot of lives considering that its release and the illustrations I did ended up proven on the huge monitor up the BT Tower in March as portion of Molly’s documentary.
