RI GOP lawmaker faces phone calls to resign following Washington riot

A Republican state lawmaker, who on Wednesday took section in the U.S. Capitol march for President Donald Trump that finished in a riot, is below fireplace from Democratic colleagues.

Rep. Justin Price, R-Richmond, tweeted Saturday that he “marched to the capitol with 1 million peaceful patriots,” in response to queries from The Journal about his involvement in the event. 

Requested irrespective of whether he entered the Capitol alongside with marchers who confused police and ransacked the making, Price tag said “I did not enter,” and blamed these affiliated with antifa and the Black Lives Make a difference motion for the violence.

He would not say how near he received to the capitol building.

But just after studying Price’s tweets, Rep. Brandon Potter, a freshly elected Democrat from Cranston, called on Value to resign.
